Liberty HR Recruitment is excited to be supporting our client, a forward-thinking organisation, in the search for a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis. Reporting directly into the accountant, you will be working alongside some fantastic colleagues.
This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, although our client is open to somebody who may want to work 4 days a week.
The primary responsibility for this role is the timely and effective processing of monthly payroll, for approximately 350 employees and looking after the administration of company pensions. You will be the sole Payroller.
Some of your duties will include:
- Process statutory payments (SMP, SPP etc.)
- Holiday and sickness reporting
- Process starters and leavers
- Prepare salary journals
- Process P11d’s, P60’s and P45’s as required
- Prepare gender pay gap information
- Assisting HR & Accountant as required
Our client is looking for a motivated and hardworking Payroll Officer, with good IT skills and excellent communication skills. You must have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise own workload.
In return, you will receive, a salary of up to £32,000 plus some fantastic benefits! Based in Portsmouth.
