Liberty HR Recruitment are absolutely delighted to be partnering with our client to find a Learning and Development Officer, on a full time, permanent basis, based on the outskirts of Portsmouth.

Reporting to the Group L&D Manager, working within an FCA regulated environment, the main purpose of this role is to identify appropriate training methods, learning and development and preparing relevant training materials.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Development of materials, videos, E-Learning content and practical exercises as well as group and individual training and development activities.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and up to date training records.
  • Support line managers by providing feedback on L&D activities for use in regular reviews and appraisals.
  • Identify, communicate and validate training objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with the relevant FCA regulations.

You will:

  • Ideally be CIPD qualified or have another form of training qualification.
  • Have current up to date knowledge of effective L&D methods, best practice and industry standards.
  • Come with experience of working within Financial Services.

As a person you will have excellent communication skills, able to work independently, a problem solver and have high attention to detail!
