Liberty HR Recruitment is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a fantastic client to recruit an HR Business Partner for their successful and evolving business. The position will be based in Southampton and you will report into the Head of HR. This is a really lovely organisation where the people are very enthusiastic, welcoming and professional.

You will help to deliver the HR People Plan and provide leadership to the HR team.

Some of the key accountabilities within this partnering role include:

Managing TUPE activity and process | Working with Trade Unions | Embedding a new HRIS

Be the escalation point in HR

As a senior generalist HR professional, you will contribute to a multitude of HR activities. You will have been exposed to; project management, managing and embedding cultural change, au fait with consulting stakeholders and have a very good knowledge of employment law as you will oversee complex ER issues.

The successful candidate will be able to switch from tactical to strategic as needed, have good commercial acumen, able to coach and mentor managers, a problem solver and able to prioritise workloads. Experience in a shared service organisation would be very beneficial as would exposure to Payroll.

Travel across sites will be necessary from time to time, so it is essential you have a full driver’s licence and access to a car. A DBS check will also be undertaken.

A CIPD Level 7 qualification is also essential.
