Liberty HR Recruitment are delighted to be partnering exclusively, with our fantastic client, in the search for a Head of Finance, on a permanent, full-time basis, based in Portsmouth.
Reporting directly into a collaborative and passionate CEO, you will be responsible for providing financial management guidance and proactively support the company in achieving their strategic goals.
Your duties will include;
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Annual budget preparation and forecasting
- Completing payment runs
- Managing cash flow
- Statutory reporting, ready for Audits
- Preparing financial reports for the board
- Risk management
- Oversee payroll
- Manage and support a Finance Officer
As an individual you will be values driven and a strong team player, who is happy to “roll their sleeves up” and be willing to be involved in all aspects of Finance and the business as a whole.
The company uses SAGE and you must be IT literate, specifically with Excel.
You will ideally be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified and come with recent, relevant “hands-on” experience. Experience of working within a charity sector would be advantageous, or a similar industry.
In return our client is offering a salary of up to £55k, plus some fantastic benefits.
