How to lead your organisation so that it becomes a ‘Super-Tribe’

Our first Inspiring HR Leaders event of the New Year at Liberty HR is entitled “How to lead your organisation so that it becomes a ‘Super-Tribe'” – Simon Rhodes’ philosophy is to build “Super-Tribes” through improving strategic alignment, leadership effectiveness, communications, inter-personal relationships and operating systems. Working with business, sport and education, Simon helps to remove the misalignment, dis-engagement and disharmony that can impede an organisation’s performance. By analysing the twenty elements of tribes, Simon uses modern and historical examples to illustrate the principles. He then offers practical ideas and hands-on help to make organisations more aligned, inclusive and high-performing so that they can become Super-Tribes.

Simon is Head of Employment and Senior Partner at Trethowans solicitors. Simon has nearly 25 years experience of dealing with legal and people issues. He was previously the firm’s Managing Partner and has been part of the Trethowans leadership for the last fifteen years. Simon has been a catalyst for the firm’s dynamic growth is size and reputation. Despite the challenging economy over the past 10 years, he has played a key role in trebling the turnover at Trethowans to £18 million and propelling it into the top 150 law firms in the UK.

Simon has also led the collaborative venture ‘Future Southampton’ which eventually led to the Southampton BID; he created and co-organised the Salisbury Big Business Event; created and co-organised the Solent Business Growth Summit; co-hosted and co-presented the South Coast Business of the Year Awards; has chaired 3 sustainability summits; served as a trustee of the Southampton Cultural Development Trust; he sat on the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce Southampton Business Board; and judged at the South Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards.
