Following the success of the last Liberty HR Recruitment HR Leaders’ Forum, we are delighted to announce that the first forum of 2021 will feature a talk on inclusive employment by Rob Neil OBE, director at Krystal Alliance, entitled ‘Involve to Evolve – ethically centered policy’.
Rob will discuss such questions as;
- What is the role of a leader?
- How do you lead?
- Who, when and why do you encourage, support and inspire?
- Where is the love in leadership?
Rob is a firm believer in the statement “Never doubt that a small group of committed, passionate, dedicated individuals can transform an organisation, in so many ways it really is the only thing that ever does” .
Born in London, Rob started working for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in 1983, becoming a founder member of the BAME staff network and the first elected Chair of the Civil Service Race Forum. Rob went on to work in HR at the MoJ for 15 years and led on the design, recruitment and launch of the Engagement Champions Network. His pioneering work now boasts over 1000 members across the entire MoJ Family – including; Courts, Tribunals, Prisons and the Legal Aid Agency. Rob departed from the MoJ in April 2019 to support the Department for Education [DfE] with embedding culture change.
Rob was awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours list by the Queen for ‘Services to race equality in the workplace and the community’. Later in the same year Rob became the inaugural winner of Investing in Ethnicity’s Workplace Hero Award. He lives with his wife and their two children in Harrow and is an avid Queens Park Rangers fan (which pleases Den greatly as he too has been a fan of QPR since childhood!)
The event will take place on Wednesday 27th January, 2021 over Zoom and will start at 12:30 (although we advise that you log on at 12:20) and will last until 13:45.
These forums are designed as an opportunity to connect, inspire and share ideas with a network of fellow HR Leaders in a supportive and collaborative environment. Rob will talk for 45 minutes to 1 hour and then you will have the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.
