Liberty Recruitment founder, Jane Barry, is an FCIPD qualified HR professional and recruitment specialist who has worked in the sector for well over 20 years. She has previously been Chair of the Portsmouth CIPD group and the Wessex Branch of the CIPD.

Specialising in HR, Talent and Learning & Development roles, Jane has an eye for detail and a meticulous approach. Everyone who knows Jane will testify to her warmth as a person and her passion for everything that she does, including compiling her near-legendary ‘To Do’ lists…

Jane is a sociable person with a love of live music, literature and contemporary art. A little-known fact about Jane is that she carries a small photograph of the ‘ruggedly handsome’ singer and song-writer Billy Bragg in her purse, hoping he will one day call and whisk her away. And until this happens, Jane lives in Emsworth with her husband Den, their two dogs and three cats.

Liberty Recruitment co-founder Den Barry, is our multi-talented social media and communications guru. He has previously worked in a similar capacity for a charity, a social enterprise and for other recruitment organisations prior to the launch of Liberty Recruitment.

We describe Den as ‘multi-talented’ as he is a published author of fiction and non-fiction; he’s the singer in a garage-punk band called The Glorias; he plays the drums; and is a qualified trainer for Toucan Diversity Training CIC, for whom he occasionally delivers disability equality training to local employers.

When not busy with any of these duties, Den loves pop-art and can be found at live music events; walking the dogs around Emsworth; ticking off completed tasks from the numerous ‘To Do’ lists he’s been given; and checking that Billy Bragg Isn’t lurking near the front door.

Beth has more than ten years of resourcing and recruiting knowledge, with her specialist areas being the Accountancy & Finance sector as well as plenty of HR recruitment experience too.

Armed with her CIPD level 3 qualification, Beth brings a refreshing mix of professionalism and personality to her role. She takes immense pleasure in building and nurturing relationships with both Candidates and Clients alike. Beth’s personal mission is to find the perfect role for each and every one of her candidates and she takes great pride in making dreams come true!

When away from the world of recruitment, Beth turns into a superfan Mum, watching on proudly as her son Thomas plays pool for Hampshire. And Beth has an adventurous side too, as she’s on a mission to see the world. She is currently ticking off an extensive list of countries she has visited already. And as well as being much-travelled, Beth can often be seen more locally whilst walking her adorable duo of furry companions: Fee, the pug, and Dave, the French bulldog.

Kym has over twenty years’ experience of working in HR – in both the public and private sectors – and more than half of those years have been spent in recruitment. She is CIPD level 3 qualified and is passionate about meeting new people. Kym loves to build new relationships with both candidates and clients and says there is no better feeling than delivering the news to someone who has just been hired in their dream role!

At home Kym has a busy life with her three, sports-mad children. Consequently, she spends a great deal of her spare time watching both Maddie and Joe playing football and being a taxi driver for Izzie’s gym trips. Kym, her partner Justin and their family recently moved into a new house, so DIY is high on their agenda!

If Kym is ever allowed a little down-time from her rather hectic schedule, she loves to socialise with friends and enjoys the occasional book or a box set.

Molly has been in recruitment since 2019, in her time recruiting everything from Call Handlers and Administrators to Clinical Managers and GPs. She has also worked for Rolls Royce and in the holiday park sector.

She loves the satisfaction gained from finding someone their dream role and experiencing some of the happiness it brings to them. And so she never tires of the feeling of a job well done!

Molly’s interests away from the office include spending time with her husband Adam and their close friends, Adam is a big film fan so their downtime is often consumed with movie nights and cinema trips. She also confesses to being something of a shopaholic! Molly is close to her three siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister) and her 2 nephews and niece, so seeing them all can takes up a lot of her spare time.

Dave – (aka ‘Mummy’s Boy’) the rescued French Bulldog pup of indeterminate age (so let’s say, for arguments sake – about 2 years old); thought to have dropped out of school early but gained a degree from the University of Hard Knocks; weirdly comfortable in an office environment; calm; happy; friendly; and sociable (but will probably never text you back); loves to dance; we think he’s Aries (because of his fun-loving nature) but can’t be 100% sure; now self-identifies as an English Bulldog and has learned to bark without any discernible accent.

Likes – pointlessly chasing a ball; ice cubes; is something of a sun worshipper; all processed food; all unprocessed food; salsa dancers; wearing a coat; music on vinyl rather than CD; Euro-Pop; correcting other people’s grammar and spelling on social media.
